The NEW YOU Beauty Awards—which celebrate only the best and recognizes those brands of bilingual entrepreneurs whose captivating stories have reinvented themselves to create their own “NEW YOU”—took place this past April. This innovative and groundbreaking event, which was held for its ninth year, has established itself as the premier awards event in Miami, which appeals to not only a diverse but cross-culture audience.

As an event that advocates physical, mental, and financial wellness and that beauty should be lived and awarded, the NEW YOU Beauty B.A.R. event took place in Miami this year, where winners of the awards were announced at The 1 Hotel South Beach that Saturday’s event. Stars such as Ashley Benson, Alexa Collins, Derek Warburton (editor of Gurus and LA Inquisitor), and Alexa Dellanos were among those present at the event.

Alexa Collins, one of the top influencers who attended the event, was asked what advice she would give her followers, to which she responded, “Feel beautiful in your own skin.”

Alicia Grande, CEO of Grande Lash Cosmetics, who won Entrepreneur of the Year, also stated, “You have to wake up every day and be obsessed. You can’t be defeated. You must engage with every opportunity presented. You have to believe in what you are selling, and it has to work.”

Darcy Silvia, a beauty influencer and entrepreneur who owns the House of Eleven brand, said they were there to “inspire the world” and “keep those positive thoughts going.” She claimed that manifestation helps in inspiration, and when you think positively, the world responds in kind.

The event—which highlights many multicultural creators, as well as female entrepreneurs and influencers—highlights the diversity and inclusion of the event and brings together not just style icons but award-winning brands, industry leaders, and influencers to recognize excellence across the beauty and health industries. 

For the past twelve years, the NEW YOU Beauty Awards have been a leading voice of beauty and health. They continue to recognize excellence not just through their live events but also through their awards. By allowing brands and consumers to honor products, individuals, and stories, they can redefine the industries they work in and share their testaments of courage, self-worth, and personal strength along with them.

More than 600 entries were reviewed by the NEW YOU beauty editors and skincare experts, with special consideration taken from NEW YOU’S online consumer voting process. There were 26 winners across 19 categories, including skincare, makeup, fragrance, and innovation.
