Walk into the headquarters of Inside Success TV in Miami and it quickly becomes clear that this is not another podcast studio.
On filming days, producers prepare guests, camera crews position equipment across multiple sets, lighting teams make final adjustments and editors work on recently filmed projects. Somewhere in the middle of it all is entrepreneur and Inside Success TV founder Rudy Mawer, moving between productions as another story prepares to go in front of the cameras.
“We’re not trying to build another podcast network,” Mawer says. “We want to build the future home of entrepreneurial entertainment.”
Inside Success TV has already moved beyond the concept stage. The network has developed multiple shows and series available across major streaming platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and other digital streaming services.
But Mawer sees those productions as the opening chapter of something considerably larger.
His long-term ambition is to build a major entertainment network spanning television, documentaries, feature films, mini-series, podcasts, animation, live virtual events and digital programming, all centered around ambition, entrepreneurship, personal growth and the pursuit of success.
From Miami Studio to Global Media Network
At the center of that plan is Inside Success TV’s approximately 12,000-square-foot production campus in Miami, Florida. The facility features multiple filming environments, professional camera systems and custom sets capable of supporting different productions.
But the production process begins long before the studio lights turn on, with the team researching their childhood dynamics, early ambitions, the failures they’ve endured, their breakthroughs and the decisions that shaped their career.
The narrative isn’t just about what made them successful. It’s about the story underneath the success.
What happened when the business nearly failed? What sacrifices did nobody see? What can viewers learn and apply to their own lives?
The interviews are created after filming through story construction, music, graphics and cinematic editing before distribution. The result is deliberately different from the traditional entrepreneur sitting behind a microphone answering predictable questions.
Mawer wants viewers to feel like they are watching a story.
The Opportunity Hollywood Has Missed
Over the last decade, business content has exploded.
There are thousands of podcasts, YouTube channels, newsletters and conferences teaching entrepreneurship that exist on platforms all over the internet and TV. Yet Mawer believes relatively little of that content has been turned into genuine mainstream entertainment.
“There are millions of incredible stories hidden inside small businesses,” Mawer says. “Most never get seen because traditional media only chases celebrities, scandals or billion-dollar corporations.”
Some of the strongest human stories happen inside businesses most people will never hear about.
An entrepreneur rebuilding after bankruptcy. An immigrant starting over in America. A founder surviving years of rejection. A mother building a company while raising a family.
These are business stories, but more importantly, they are human stories.
That gives them the ability to reach far beyond entrepreneurs.
Success as an Entertainment Category
Most major networks became powerful by owning a category.
ESPN became synonymous with sports. Food Network built an entertainment empire around food. CNBC became synonymous with markets and financial news.
Mawer believes success, ambition and personal growth represent another enormous category, but one still fragmented across books, podcasts, social media and occasional television shows.
His ambition is for Inside Success TV to bring those worlds together.
The target audience is not simply business owners.
It is anyone who wants more from their life.
“If you think about how many people consume content around business, mindset, fitness, wealth, leadership and personal development every day, the audience is enormous,” Mawer says. “The opportunity is turning those subjects into entertainment people actually want to watch.”
The strategy is simple:
Entertain first.
Inspire second.
Teach through both.
Television Is Only Phase One
Inside Success TV’s existing television shows and documentary series establish the foundation, but Mawer’s five-year vision extends far beyond traditional television.
The company plans to build across several formats:
- Original television and documentary series
- Feature films and scripted mini-series
- Major podcasts
- Animated and family-friendly programming
- Live and virtual events
- Short-form and digital content
The common thread is not the format.
It is the mission.
Inside Success wants to become the home of entertainment built around people trying to build extraordinary lives.
Hollywood Storytelling Meets Entrepreneurship
Mawer did not enter entertainment through the traditional Hollywood system.
Entrepreneurship, performance marketing, branding and media are all within Mawer’s expertise, which encompasses how he thinks about building a network.
Inside Success TV has been building production infrastructure, creating a growing catalog of shows, working with entrepreneurs and experts, and distributing content through established streaming platforms, rather than starting with a few expensive productions and hoping an audience appears.
That creates a wider media ecosystem.
A documentary subject can become part of a larger series.
A successful show can lead to a podcast.
A powerful true story can inspire a scripted project.
A television audience can move into digital programming or live events.
Each piece strengthens the larger Inside Success brand.
Turning Real Stories Into Intellectual Property
Hollywood has always been built around intellectual property.
Mawer believes entrepreneurship offers a massive untapped source of it.
Every successful founder has moments of conflict, sacrifice, risk and failure.
Every meaningful achievement contains a story.
Inside Success TV is building a growing archive of those journeys.
“We’re documenting people while they’re actually building,” Mawer says. “Some of the people we film today may be running enormous companies ten years from now.”
That makes the library more than a collection of interviews.
It becomes a record of ambition in progress.
The Next Evolution: Movies and Scripted Entertainment
Expanding into scripted entertainment is one of Mawer’s biggest ambitions.
Themes revolving around entrepreneurship, ambition, sacrifice, competition, risk-taking, failure and redemption already show up in some of Hollywood’s most memorable movies.
Inside Success wants to build more stories around those themes without creating obvious “business movies.”
The business lesson should sit underneath the entertainment.
A film could follow a coach trying to rebuild a basketball team while creating a side business to keep the program alive.
Another could follow an entrepreneur risking everything on one final opportunity.
The viewer does not need to own a company to relate.
They simply need to understand ambition.
Building for the Next Generation
As audiences increasingly care less about where content originated and more about whether it is worth their attention, the distinction between television, streaming, social media, podcasts and online video continues to disappear.
Inside Success TV is being designed around that reality.
Whether it’s through a short social clip, a full episode on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV, listening to a podcast, or watching a related movie and later attending a live event, a viewer might discover the network in any of these ways.
Each format becomes another entrance into the same ecosystem.
The Five-Year Bet
Mawer’s bet is that ambition itself can become a major entertainment category.
Millions of people already consume motivational content, entrepreneur interviews, business podcasts, documentaries, biographies and stories of extraordinary achievement.
What does not yet exist at comparable scale is one recognizable entertainment brand connecting all of it.
That is what Mawer wants Inside Success TV to become.
Over the next five years, the goal is to build a major library of television shows, documentaries, movies, mini-series, podcasts, animation, live experiences and digital programming.
The vision is larger than becoming a company that interviews successful entrepreneurs.
Mawer wants Inside Success TV to become the network people turn to when they want to watch something that makes them think bigger, perform better and pursue more.
The productions happening inside the Miami studio today are simply the foundation.
If Mawer’s vision works, Inside Success TV could eventually occupy a position that does not quite exist in entertainment today:
a global media network built around ambition, success and the pursuit of a better life.
